Stefan, Really great to see this Aurel Huber "Velvet"! They added felt production post WWII. Many ex J. Hückel´s Söhne (Czechoslovakia) ended up working for Aurel Huber post WWII. I am not sure why it's difficult to find their hats.
Thanks, Steve. Very satisfying to find one of these older Hückel hats and amazing that the sheen and lustre comes right back with some decent brushing and steaming. The Huber was a nice surprise. Never seen one before, but very fine quality.Stefan, Fantastic find! The color and finish of the Alpha Velour is great. Hard to match JHS Velour.
Carl Zeumer Magazin Zum PFAU was a warehouse or retail outlet of fur, hats and caps in Braunschweig (Brunswick), Germany.

Georg, I think you are spot on regarding the dating. It's hard to find later P. & C. Habig Wien Dress Style Hats (many are Trachten). Sorry about the size. This Habig is soft and has a good hand.
Unfortunately no product tag inside, besides the size tag "60".
Liner is glued in, not sown. Maybe 1970-80s?
As you can see, size 7 1/2 is way to big for me
If interested, send me a message.

Stefan, Wow! You have been busy. Great haul of hats!Heinr. Neumann chamois in a size 57 (but runs small enough for me). Overwelt brim at 5,5cm and crown 10cm at the center dent. No liner, but it must have had one in the past, and just a generic label inside the hat. So no idea who the manufacturer was. I have this feeling I've seen the 911 number for this colour somewhere before, but I can't remember where. Really cool bow treatment, nice shape to the hat and excellent felt (reminds me of Hückel chamois finishes). What's not to like?
Another nice find, Stefan. Glad this one fits you. Super silver/blue hues to the grey felt. Love that bow.Heinr. Neumann chamois in a size 57 (but runs small enough for me). The paper label format of this one looks familiar. I will have to take a look and see if I can find anything.
Steve(s), thanks! Glad the early fall season brought in a good haul already. Hope they keep turning up.Another nice find, Stefan. Glad this one fits you. Super silver/blue hues to the grey felt. Love that bow.

Such a great haul of hats.....and some great sizes too!!
Thanks, Mark. Funny how a different ribbon and bow treatment can set a hat apart from the others. Certainly a redeeming quality (if it needed any).Love the ribbon on this....

Steve, that is one fantastic ca.1940s Bowler. Great case and brush, too. Seldom worn indeed, almost NOS in fact. Super find.Rehfus & Cie. "Zephyr" "Extra Extra Qualität", French Point 5 1/2. The condition is excellent so probably seldom worn. It came with an original shop Hat Case and Hat Brush. I am thinking post WWII but still uses Rehfus & Cie. and the 1950s Soft Felts used Rehfus Hutfabrikaten. Also the factory was heavily damaged + looted after WWII and didn't go back into production until 1951.
