I dunno what this guy thinks 'shangtung; is... but I have a summer buzz cut and it might fit... little help?

Your first museum quality vintage genuine Montecristi Panama straw, size just under 7 1/4, marked in pencil under the sweat band #25, purchased from an online auction (not the bay), just arrived. Upon opening and close inspection you realize that the excess packing material in too small a box has crushed the crown causing sharp creases just above the dents. There are five areas with subtle broken straws. Aside from the broken straws and crushed crown, this panama is perfect. In my "expert" opinion, this lid is now worth between $20.00 and $20,000.00. In an attempt to narrow this down, what say you? What to do next?
