A little more melodramatic.
Going to be a burial at sea here, so no headstone permissible…
Just returning the wee portion of energy and materia I borrowed from universe makes me wish to be absorbed in the seas when my time has come…
"Space Oddity" and "Ashes to Ashes" are only two of my favorite David Bowie songs. I can't say I"m completely familiar with his entire catalog, but those two songs stand out for me.Buddy, this is a good idea!! Even, if the person wasn´t a drug addict.
I just love the song, especially the ending. One of my Bowie favorites.
Oh, HELLZ to the NAW!!! No disco, rap, or hip-hop for me thankyouverymuch. Well, there is one rap song that cracks me up--"Baby Got Back" by Sir Mix-A-Lot--but I don't think it would go over well at a funeral. As cremation is the compulsory procedure prior to a burial at sea here I’ll pick „The Roof Is On Fire“ by Rock Master Scott for me, taking the elevator down to the cellar.
My body will be cremated after I die, so what do we think? "Ashes to Ashes" by David Bowie? "Hell" by Squirrel Nut Zippers? "Hot Hot Hot" by Buster Poindexter? Any other suggestions?
Nope. I've generally not been a fan of "heavy metal from the 70s" except for Alice Cooper and KISS (if they're even considered heavy metal; I just put 'em in the "rock" category), and I'm not gonna' start now. In fact, I've never heard that song before.Maybe „Shot Down In Flames“ by AC/DC then, a real classic…
On a related note, why do we still not have a "vomiting" smiley here?I suggest you get funky.

Maybe, but she died in 2020. I really don't think she's gonna' care.C'mon, that's not fair to Helen Reddy.
Don't bother; they're here.I have one request, "Send in the Clowns".
Damn, you beat me to it!!!!Don't bother; they're here.
If I had a dollar for every time someone beat me to the perfect joke on one of these forums I'd...uhh...probably have a few more dollars than I have now.Damn, you beat me to it!!!!
Like me.....usually a day late and a dollar short....although these days it is more likely to a fiver. If I had a dollar for every time someone beat me to the perfect joke on one of these forums I'd...uhh...probably have a few more dollars than I have now.
