Both hats have been taken. thanks!

These are both great looking hats on the large side of 7 1/8 that fit me well, but the colors are just not colors that I will wear, so I'm entertaining offers to trade them for similar size hats before I try to sell them. If I don't find something I want in exchange for them here, they'll go to Etsy or maybe Ebay.

Open Road:

Nice light tan color, it's very light, an off white of sorts maybe this is a form of silverbelly, but it definitely has a bit of a brownish tinge to it. Had some light staining and soiling, but cleaned up nice. Trolley cord, liner sweatband and ribbon are all in great shape.

Champ:

This one is very nice and clean. there might be some light stains. I didn't even bother to brush it or reshape it for the pictures. this is pretty much how it came. The lining is a stained, but very much intact. The sweatband is nice.

I'll entertain any offers in the right size 7 1/4- 7 1/8, but I'm particularly interested in black, green, or other interesting colors and nice tall crowns. Nothing less than 2 1/4 brim. Would love something with a Cavanagh edge.

Champ is spoken for, and I'm getting a black hat out of the deal, so I'm a happy man.

Still open for trades on the OR, but likely it'll go up for sale tonight.

If it wasn't a LO.

I'm still trying to figure out what a long oval really is. I think my head actually IS a long oval, but the two long ovals I've gotten recently fit loose on the sides, at least at first. after I wear them a little they tend to conform to my head, but you'd think a long oval would tend to be loose at the front and back if it were gonna be loose...

I have a LO and I have that same problem. It's a lot roomier than other hats in that size. Mine hasn't conformed to my head.

Try sticking a little felt behind the sweat at the back of the hat, that's what I did with the Knox 7 1/8 LO I just got today, and it seemed to do the trick for me.
