Right, just got another one that fits a lot better and I doubt I'll be going back to this one, even though it's been one of my fav jackets.
Vanson Maverick in a size 42. That's the so called trucker or Levi's Type-3 style, if you will.
This is a full on custom w/ some unique mods...
• Heavy no. 10 Talon zipper in addition to snaps
• Hand-warmer pockets (so that's five pockets altogether, default has only 2 chest & 1 inside pocket)
• Much trimmer sleeves & higher armpits
• Shorter than the default model
With the zipper and everything, it's a really unique trucker style made by one the greatest leather jacket maker on the planet.
Very heavy and thick leather (def. more so than the current comp. weigh) but also relatively soft. Not soft soft but more pliable than what you're used to from Vanson. Comfortable.
Leather doesn't have that heavy, shiny finish Vanson's known for. It's more matte in appearance. Kinda like naked cowhide, only much heavier.
Tagged 42 but make sure to be guided by the provided measurements. Keep in mind that it's a short jacket with trim sleeves. Think Japanese fit.
• Chest (P2P): 22.5"
• Waist: 21"
• Shoulders: 18.5"
• Sleeves: 25.5"
• Back: 23" (23.5" when stretched)
This is an earlier model. Bought used. I wore it but the leather is so thick and tough that it literally didn't change at all while in my possession. Still worth approx. eleven lifetimes.
Absolutely flawless condition with only regular signs of use and wear. Leather intact, just creases here and there. Lining is flawless. All hardware working perfectly. Clean, no odor of any kind.
