FS: Vanson Enfield - Size 40 - Sweden

Dear All,

I bought this jacket from a FL member few months back but never used it (still cold here). The seller said he only wore it six times and given the condition of the jacket I must believe him.

There is a loose seam in the hem that the original owner did not notice. It is actually unnoticeable unless you fold the hem in the “wrong” direction as shown in the picture below.

Jacket measurements are:

Shoulders - 18.5"
Pit-to-pit - 22.5"
Sleeves - 26.5"
Back Length - 25.4"

I payed for jacket, shipment from USA to EU and custom fees (665 USD). I am offering it for 450 EUR plus 30 EUR shipment in Europe with international tracking.

I am not in hurry nor convinced yet to sell this jacket and it would only be an excuse to start my new project.

Lovely jacket. I had to make a choice between an Enfield and a Schott 689 a few years back. I went with the Schott and have grown to regret it. Can you advise if the back length provided is from the collar seam or the top of the collar? What is your height and are you happy with the length of the jacket? A fit pic may be helpful in this regard

Hi! I am 5'9" (175 cm) and the back length (measured from collar seam, btw) is how I like it. Wearing a Levi's 501, the jacket ends just in the middle between the belt and top of the rear pocket.

Hope it helps for now. Will see if I can make a fit pic of the back later on.
