FS: Vanson Enfield 42

Selling this Vanson Enfield cafe racer. My own jacket, bought from store last year. Size 42. Only thing to mention is I applied the EcoFlow leather dye on a lower area between the left hand pocket and zipper. Hopefully the photo can show.

Interesting that this 42 measures slightly smaller than the 40 Enfield currently listed in the classifieds by GST. Both very nice jackets at a reasonable price.

My suit size is always 44. I wear 44 A2 made by Aero and Eastman. This 42 feels like a true 42, just right, with extra forward stretching room due to the action back. No seam pops

18 inches across the shoulders sounds narrow. I couldn't get that across my shoulders and I wear a 42. You sure it's right?

Yes it's 18". The mere width of the shoulder seam to seam is not the only determinant of upper torso fit. You can ask any tailor or pattern maker. The Belstaff has narrow shoulders but while it sure is fitted, there's no mobility issue. Same here, it has action back and Vanson's magic sleeve cap height and rotation. Unless you have bodybuilder massif shoulder and bicep, this will fit very comfortably. Or, unless you like loose and roomy shoulders.

Yep, I get all that. Every Enfield I've seen at 42 is wider. The 40 Enfield on this page is 18.5. Anyway, it's a nice jacket. Good luck with the sale.
