FS: Vanson "El Paso" Brown Leather Jeans, size W34

Messages

Vanson motorcycle leather pants, model called "El Paso" which is simply a classic Levi's 5 pocket jeans style.

PRICE
$240
shipped to EU. Elsewhere, plus shipping. Paypal, Friends/Family.

►INFO
If you've handled a single pair of jeans then there ain't much for me to add that you already don't know. Some additional info on Vanson's website: https://www.vansonleathers.com/pant...ial_color-black_competition_weight/20-size-26

However, what is noteworthy about this particular pair, is that they're made from a very heavy, deep & dark brown leather, the kind I personally haven't seem Vanson use before.
As heavy as any Comp. Weight, the leather is surprisingly soft and without the trademark heavy finish. Feels very natural. Actually rather beautiful.

►CONDITION
Flawless all over. Obviously worn a bit though creases is just about the only sign of use you can expect. Clean, no odor. As good as it gets, IMO.

►FIT
In my opinion, these fit like a W32 jeans so please mind the measurements. Also, the cuffs are still factory flipped (Vanson leather pants come with cuffs lightly glued on the inside, so you can adjust the length.
• Waist width: 43 cm / 17"
• Front rise: 30 cm / 12"

• Inseam: 82 cm / 32"
• Full length: 109 cm / 43"
(You can add 6 cm / 2.5" to the length by unflipping the cuffs so the full inseam is 88 cm / 34.5")

• Thigh width: 27 cm / 10.5"
• Knee width: 24 cm / 9.5"
• Cuff opening: 21 cm / 8.2"

MISC
As good a pair of leather pants as it gets, in leather that Vanson ain't working with no more. I've only seen brown ones in Japan, rarely on US eBay and they go for a lot. But seriously, if you dig these, this is it.

That's that. Any questions? Please write. Thanks for your interest.

Just an update that I bought these pants and they are gorgeous, the pics don't really do the leather justice. They are cut pretty generously (I assume it's cause they're supposed to be worn over jeans) but I took them to a leather alteration shop and they fit perfectly now (even the tailors kept saying it's a gorgeous leather). They're quite stiff but wearing them till they soften and crease is part of the fun of owning leather pieces, thanks so much!

Thank you, @kalokbe789. I really appreciate the review & I'm glad you like them. I've had a few Vanson leather pants and none were made from this kind of leather. Vanson's regular brown Comp. weight doesn't even come close, how natural & soft this leather is.

Since you're the leather pants expert around these parts, I have a question: I put my name down on the waitlist to have a pair of Westerns made at Langlitz. Scott suggested opting for goatskin because it's thinner and more flexible than cowhide. Thoughts?

I'd always go with cow. Sure, they're heavier but I neither like the way goatskin pants drape (they just hang, there's not much stacking going on, which is what I like the most about cow/horse leather trousers) and while tough, pants take a lot more beating than jackets.

But goat pants are easier & more comfortable to wear, there's no debate there. Though Langlitz heavy cow is very soft and flexible as well so it's not like you won't be able to wear them. I understand why CXL pants might be a problem for someone, I didn't particularly enjoy wearing them, but Langlitz cow is really flexible and nice.

Thanks so much for your input, I'll go with cow then!
