Shoes are in Excellent Used Condition, worn very sparingly over a few year period & extremely well maintained. No scratches, scuffs, or other blemishes to the upper or midsole. These utilize a super dark chocolate top coat that will naturally teacore to lighter tones. Scandinavian horsehide tanned in Japan by Shinki Tannery. Stamped 26cm, these fit my 8.5D feet perfectly! Retail was about $750 when purchased. This is essentially TFH doing low cut White's Boots better than White's Boots (sacrilege, I know). No original packaging included. -The horsehide we use is carefully selected from Scandinavian hides.
-This raw hide is tanned over a long period of time in a vegetable tannin pit tank, resulting in a leather that is firm and contains just the right amount of oil.
-The leather is colored using dyes and then finished with wax.
-By finishing with this method, you can enjoy the texture that the more you use it, the color of the ground called "tea core" will appear on the surface, and the wax will increase the luster.
-Finished with the stitch down method that is also used in rugged work boots , it is durable and prevents rain from entering.
-Of course, the soles can be replaced, so you can use them for a long time !
-These boots go well with jeans and even shorts from now on in the summer, so having a pair will expand your fashion range ! ! !
-Stitch down construction means that the upper extends out from the outside of the shoe instead of inside, creating an integrated welt that is sewn together with the midsole, making it highly airtight and preventing rain from penetrating.
