Greetings All!
As posted in my introductory thread in the Outerwear forum (New here... but feels like home | The Fedora Lounge), I’m forced to put this gorgeous The Flat Head Single Riders Jacket for sale as it is unfortunately one size too small for me.
Following are the dimensions:
Label Size – 38
P2P – 50 cms (19.7”)
Length – 58 cms (22.9”)
Shoulder width – 43.5 cms (17.12”)
Sleeve Length – 60 cms (23.6”)
As seen from the pics. the jacket is in like new condition and still has that gorgeous Shinki aroma intact. From what I have read online, The Flat Head sources the horse hide for these jackets from Scandinavia and is then tanned at the Shinki tannery. Additionally, the leather is also ‘greased’ with special oil developed by The Flat Head resulting in quite a moist/juicy (?) finish. The leather is thick, but supple and requires almost no break-in… at least compared to my PHWM in CXLHH
The stitch work is absolutely gorgeous and is what drew me to this jacket. French seams have been used almost exclusively in the construction of this jacket and it really stands out especially with the contrast stitching.
I understand that I’m new to this forum and this is potentially a significant purchase. If there is any thing I can do to make anybody interested in the jacket more comfortable with the purchase, please feel free to let me know and I promise to do my best to accommodate any requests to the best of my abilities.
Asking USD 1,450/- plus USD 100 shipped worldwide
Thanks,
Sabir
