This is a true MC jacket. It's heavy horsehide leather, and the soft wool (not itchy!) lining means it will keep you warm. It also has a wool flap that covers the inside of the collar.
It has storm cuffs and straps with buckles on the sleeve cuffs and at the waist to tighten as needed.
The tag reads "Sportsway Leader in Style & Quality, Guaranteed Glove".
I got this from a military/vintage seller in the UK but it is just slightly too small for me across the chest and as such I have not worn it. He said it is from the late 30s/early 40s based on the Lightning Zipper.
It looks to have lived most of its life in storage and is in great condition. Th leather is still quite stiff and needs breaking in.
Love the pocket designs on the jacket and the throat latch.
