Just got this and the brims too small for me.
It's dirty and could probably use a cleaning. Felt and sweatband seems to be in good condition. With a good cleaning and reblock this would be a great hat for someone who likes a smaller brim. It could also work as a beater.

Is this hat a bit smaller than the tagged 7 3/4? Wondering if it might work for a friend with a huge melon.

I wear a solid 7 3/4 and this fits right on compared to other 7 3/4 hats I've tried. It might ride a bit lower on a smaller headed person but with some padding this could easily fit down to a 7 5/8.
