Limited edition Red Wing 2966 Engineer in Black Klondike. Size 8. Soft toe. Black to brown fade. Worn maybe 10/15 times. Scuffed and unclean but still stiff. Been in a closet for two years. I like them but apparently not enough to wear them.

Hey, how's the sizing on these? I have a 2991 in size 8D and they are too small for me. They fit like 7.5D Iron Rangers. How about these? Do you have some Iron Rangers / Blacksmiths that you could compare to?

These fit like an 8 iron ranger. Toe box not as large as the IR but heel and arch are similar. There’s probably more online fit info. Mostly a Japanese issue but standard and strange sold them in the US.

As always, mixed information online on the sizing of these. Some say same as IRs, some say 0.5 up from IRs. Holy grail Red Wing boots for me, but I don't think I'll risk buying potentially too small boots from abroad again. My 2991 already ended up being a bad call.
So tempting though, beautiful boots...
Good luck with the sale, I'm sure you'll find a buyer very very soon and could probably ask more for them. Rare boots.
