I took a gamble and bought this hat off of Ebay recently and it turned out not to be what I expected. The auction had a very brief description without mention of the color and several poor photos. However, it looked to be a nice older gray Stetson so I bought it without asking any questions. When I received it I found out it is not gray but green. I have taken pictures of it inside, outside, sunlight, shade and it still looks gray in the pictures. I would describe it as a darker maybe sage green color. It is in nice shape for it's age with no moth bites but does have some staining on the liner and one small stain on the crown. The stain on the crown might be removed with some naptha but I haven't tried it. It feels like a true 7 3/8ths with a 2 1/2" brim, 2" ribbon and a three stitch brim edge. It is approximately 5 1/2" open crowned and a little crumpled when opened up but looks nice with the previous crease in it. I'm selling it because I just don't care for green hats.
If somebody wants it I will ship it anywhere in the US for $100.00 or possibly trade for another hat. Below are some pictures of it to give you some idea of the condition. The pictures do not represent the true color though. Thanks for looking.
