The Desert Boots are pure '60s, Towncraft brand. They certainly do not make them like this anymore, solid crepe soles, stiffer interior thanks to a plastic lining. Very well built. Very little wear and if they were not a hair too small for me, I'd keep them. Marked as a Size 8 1/2M. Price is $25 shipped
Open Road Clone:
This is a Dobbs West Open Road Clone, bashed in a cattleman. I bought this with the intent to re-bash it but never got around too it. Felt is fairly stiff. The makers name and the store have been over-marked with some sort of waffle pattern, but both are readable. The sweat itself is thick, supple and in excellent shape. This is a really nice hat that is been deemed as "one too many" for the collection.
