FS: Modern Stetson Stratoliner prototype/sample 7 1/8

Up for sale is this new size 7 1/8 modern Stetson Stratoliner dark blue/tan ribbon and bound edge. It is a factory prototype/sample that I recently purchased at the Hatco outlet store in Garland. It is not the standard teardrop crease found in the other modern Stratoliners, but instead has a three point crease that is very sharp. This blue/tan color is not generally produced for sale. Sadly, as much as I would like to make this hat work for me, I'm a true 7 1/4 and this 7 1/8 is just too tight of a fit for me, and I don't want to risk such a unique hat to the stretcher. I'm hoping this hat goes to someone who will appreciate this one-of-a-kind hat as much as I do. Will ship in a gold Dobbs box. $175 shipped CONUS. Please PM me with questions/inquiries.

Gee whiz! That is a nice and beautiful hat! The contrast just jumps and makes the hat seem so nice looking, for sure.

Thanks! I love it too. I may try having a hatter stretch it but I'll do that as a last resort if there are no takers out there. It being a prototype, it is one of a kind, which IMO only adds to its appeal.

Yes, the brim and the body are the same color blue. It is true to size 7 1/8 at 22 1/4 inches. It's a great hat!
