Up for grabs is this stunning Lost Worlds Inc. russet horsehide Ryder Jacket based on a 1930s-1940s design.

About Lost Worlds Inc.
Headed by New York born Stuart Clurman, Lost Worlds has been in operation since 1986. Long operating from a small workshop in Queens, New York City, Lost Worlds has created some of the finest leather jackets and apparel for decades. They are famous for creating meticulous, high quality reproductions of iconic leather jackets, and their products often exceed the quality of the originals they are based on. Unbelievable attention to detail (including using their own batch of chrome-tanned horsehide as well as utilizing new old stock period correct hardware, their products are buy for life.

This jacket:
This jacket is called the Ryder Jacket and is currently retailing for $1,650 plus shipping. Features include:
-Unique tucked rear waist
-Interior snapped security pocket
-Pure black nylon flight satin lining
-NOS talon zippers
-Moleskin cotton-lined pockets
- Solid brass side adjustment buckles
-Heavy duty interior storm cuffs
-Subtle double pleats
-NOS horsehide tag

This jacket is truly a lifetime purchase - this chrome-tanned horsehide is designed to be worn in the rain, and in any conditions thrown at you. The leather will soften and its grain will articulate with some amazing striations, shaping itself around the wearer. Made entirely in their NYC workshop. Extraordinary workmanship and incomparable to other jackets on the market.
The pattern is truly striking and elegant, but not busy or overdone. Can be worn in both formal and informal settings - truly a versatile piece.

Condition:
This jacket is in quite nice condition - the leather is still a bit stiff and has plenty of time to be broken in. The jacket has been meticulously stored. No tears in the lining, nor the pockets. All zippers present and work as intended. No foul odors. I would call the jacket middleweight - most certainly not a lightweight jacket but not as heavy as some of their most rugged jackets. Quite versatile. A few very faint surface wear marks are hardly visible and only display how great the jacket will look once worn by its owner.

As always, I do my absolute best to exhibit the jacket that you will receive, including providing photos of measurements. If there is any doubt as to the condition or how I obtained the measurements, please reach out to me directly and I will be more than happy to answer and provide additional photos.

The jacket will be quickly shipped upon payment. Please note that the listed size tag for this jacket is quite unusual, and in my opinion most closely fits a true size 38. However, please refer to the measurements photos (and provided below) to ensure a proper fit (please allow a small degree of discrepancy due to human error):
Armpit to armpit - 20"
Shoulder to shoulder - 17"
Bottom hem taken at loosest belt adjustment (adjustable via brass buckles): 18.25"
Sleeve length taken straight from shoulder seam: 24"
Length from bottom of collar to bottom hem: 23.5”

The price is $325 shipped in the continental US (Paypal Friends and Family). Please let me know if you have any questions.
