Leather is amazing. Lightweight, likely HH. Small scratches on sleeve but hardly noticeable, small scuff on shoulder. (see pics).

Cool jacket if I was on the hunt for a CR I would buy it. I feel this vintage good patterned CR makes great al around wear-anywhere cool weather jackets. I am betting this one does not hang around very long.

Wasn’t easy, but I prefer cross zips. And when I do go for a vintage CR it’s normally the Cal. This is a sweet jacket. At some point I am sure I will reach for it and realize it’s gone.

Wow, what a deal. Those Harley Sportsters are in my humble opinion just as nice looking as any J100. Any you don’t have to pay $1,500 for a thrashed one.

Hi guys. Happy New Years. Hope everybody got at least one new jacket for Christmas. I have one of these sportsters jackets. It resembles my buco jacket for half the price. I like my j100 type jackets but I really love to have hand warmer pockets on the sides. It calms me. Again happy holidays guys. Woohoo

I like the leather on the HD better. Also, the single pocket with all silver solid hardware is hard to beat. I take a Reed any time of the week over a Buco. I believe the leather used by many other makers during those production years was supplied by the same place. The Reed's hide is very much the same as this HD sportster as well as other well know makers from that time. Use the leftover money to fly to Colombia. Really...

Barbados! Love that place. Their rum is still one of the best. Any from foursquare is always welcome into my boat.
