Selling a brand new (without tags) Y'2 Kakishibu Single Rider's Jacket. Absolutely gorgeous jacket that will only get better with time, but unfortunately a bit too tight across the chest for me. I'm likely going to need to size up to a 44. Jacket comes with garment bag as well. Never worn except for trying on indoors. The leather will darken to a gorgeous caramel brown with sun exposure. There's plenty of photos on this site of how the leather will age, so be sure to check those out!

Asking $1600 & shipping ($600 off from retail!). I'd be even more interested in trading this jacket for the same in size 44, so if you happen to have one and maybe lost a few lbs or something please let me know!

Exact Jacket Measurements:
Chest: 21 in
Shoulders: 18.75 in
Sleeve: 25.5
Length: 25 in

Jacket description from the S&S website:
Kakishibu is a traditional Japanese dying technique that uses aged persimmon tannins, with "Kakishibu" literally meaning "persimmon astringency". Kakishibu has also been called “Taiyo-zome (sun-dye)” due to the photosensitivity of the dye - areas exposed to light will grow darker and richer in tone, eventually reaching a true persimmon color. As a result of this increased photosensitivity, this Kakishibu horsehide will age faster than most natural veg-tan leathers.

Cut with a standard fit, this jacket features two buckled brass adjustment belts at the rear side seams. Inside, there's an additional internal pocket for your phone, and the whole body is lined with a custom brushed cotton flannel. For getting it on and off, the sleeves have been lined with a silky smooth nylon, so you won't have to fuss with getting stuck inside the jacket.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

That is the one but I paid closer to $1200 because I got it off eBay. Wish I would've thought to look here first! Yes, I realize I'm asking for more here but that was the gamble I was willing to make. Felt I got it at a decent enough price that even if it didn't fit I could resell at a gain based on other Kikishibu jackets I've seen sell recently. It was an impulse decision and maybe one that won't pay off, time will tell. Honestly, what I'd love is to find someone willing to trade me for a size 44!

An interesting story. But this is not the right jacket and not the place to hit the jackpot
