FS: Freewheelers San Mateo Size 40 (Peter's Repro) in Shinki Horsehide

For sale is my Freewheeler's San Mateo made from black Shinki horsehide.

I've finally conceded that I need a size 42, this is just too tight across the shoulders/chest for me to wear comfortably.

It is in pristine condition. Has never been worn, and not ever been outside. Only tried on a few times indoors in a bid to convince myself I should not ever part with it, but it's been unused for too long.

The leather, pattern, everything about it is amazing. It has a black warm wool lining.

All zippers are working perfectly. The side laces have never been fully pulled in or tied. It still has the Shinki horsehide smell.

Would consider a trade if somebody is looking to size down to a 40, but it would need to be a 42 or 44 in excellent condition. Or an original Peter's

Wow this is incredible! Seems small for a 40? I’m usually 36-38 and the measurements seem close to what I fit into
