I'm seriously considering this one because my size 38 la brea was pretty close to fitting right. I actually had a size 38 Bodie and I didn't like how it draped on me as much as the deerskin one so I'm wondering if switching to a deerskin la brea will work...

Well, that's one of the things I love about deerskin. It has a stretchy, sponginess to it, a little like sheepskin but supposed to be more durable as well. I've heard it's Shinki deerskin used for FW jackets, too, which is different to the deerskin on my RMC LL Cyclone or my Himel. It's thicker than the New Zealand deerskin on the Himel and spongier feeling than the LL.

So yes, it does have a stretch and drape to it that allow it to flex in tight spots and hang nicely in loose areas, since it isn't stiff like a horsehide.
