Hey Jake, where in Oregon are you? I have a Real Deal on the way, hopefully will be here by the end of the month. It would be great to meet up and see each others jackets in person and do some comparison shots for the group. BTW I'm in Eugene.

Aero makes nice jackets but, IMO, they are not worth $200 - $300 more than the Gibson and Barnes Historical jackets and that does not include high shipping and Customs charges. Be smart and buy smart!

Too much oversized fit for me. I prefer Aero's RealDeal hide and not so heavy of a finish,among other things. Worth the price difference? For me,absolutely!

I have owned and like both jackets. Each has their positive and negetive features. I dislike FS more modern fit but they do have outstanding leather and an attractive cost. Aero is more costly but has the more WW2 type fit and also has some outstanding leather. I think it comes down to what your wallet can afford and what your body type is.
