I purchased new from Filson around 2005 and have worn it very rarely (see later for why).
It’s near perfect and has zero defects, stains, tears/rips or loose threads. Never been wet or abused.
I’m selling for 2 reasons. 1. It’s a large and has always been a bit big on me. I think I’m shrinking so now it’s really big on me. 2. I live in Northern San Diego area and “cold” usually means I need to wear a sweatshirt; I simply have no chance to wear the thing.
It’s a beautiful coat and received compliments on it when I did wear it.
Filson no longer makes it, and I know there are still some retailers selling old stock for nearly $300.00.
