In good condition. Attractive heavy weight chocolate brown gabardine material. It has a '39 union tag and I date this suit from the early to mid-1940s. The perfect Second World War era suit. Has a very old cleaning tag on the right arm. Trouser fly zipper works well.
I can only find a single flaw: a small (pinhead size) hole in the left upper back (see second pic). This could be repaired fairly easily.
Measurements
Jacket:
Roughly 38R
Arms- 25.5", 2" to let down
Length- 31"
Shoulders- 18.5"
Pit to pit- 21"
Trousers:
Waist- 32" with a good 3" to let out in the back seam
Inseam- 31.5", none to let down, the 1.75" cuffs could be sacrificed (faux cuff for appearance) for a total possible inseam length of 35"
Rise- 13.5" (!!!!!!)
Note: the shiny areas in these photos are from the flash and do not exist on the material. Also, the material is darker than shown in these photos. It is such a difficult suit to photograph and these images don't do this suit justice.
This is a gorgeous suit and the heavy material drapes beautifully.
$150 shipped in U.S., you pay for international shipping. Paypal only, PM if interested.
