For Sale Eastman A-2 Slender Size 40

I purchased this lovely A2 from a good fellow on this forum at the beginning of the year. Unfortunately it has been a bit snug for me in the shoulders so have not worn it much. I recently obtained an ELC RW 27752 on VLJ so am begrudgingly letting this beauty go to its next home.

The “slender” version of the classic Eastman A2 features a modified more contemporary silhouette, which means that the body is slightly slimmer and longer. In great condition with no holes in cuffs or lining.

Specs:
Seal Brown
Slimmer Fit & Longer Body
Veg-Tanned Warhorse-Horsehide
100% Cotton Plain Weave Lining (USAAF Spec.)
Crown Zip Closure
Dull Nickel Collar Hook
Double Barrel Collar Hook Eyelets
Authentic WWII Ball Press Studs
100% Worsted Wool Ribbed Cuffs (Wartime Spec. & Color)
Woven USAAF Spec. Label
Made in England

Measurements:
Chest: 54cm / 21.25”
Sleeves: 63cm / 25”
Shoulder: 46.5cm / 18.25”
Back: 63cm / 25”

I'm asking for 800€ via Paypal F&F, shipping included to continental Europe from Denmark. Happy to ship globally but costs not included. (I will also consider trades for same style ELC in size 42)

Please let me know if any additional info/pics are needed.

Thanks,
Michael

That is the best looking a2 jacket I have ever seen.. the leather is just fantastic and it appears to drape well as it hangs there. It’s not sloppy in the back at all..wow just gorgeous! If this jacket fit me, I would have spent the extra money for it. I just purchased a smaller size lost worlds a2 and if it even looks half as good as this one, I will be surprised..

Hi Martinezine, I am interested in your jacket.

I have lost some weight and curious that this size 40 is a little tight for you. Can you help me compare. I am 5'10" (177cm), 32" (82cm) Waist and jacket 52 (104cm round Chest). So if we are same dimensions I will have same problem.

Thoughts?

Thank You

Gaz

Hi Gaz, thank you for your interest in the jacket. This sale is currently Pending as of the 5th. I’ll let you know if it opens up, however. For reference I’m 183cm tall, and usually wear a 30-32 inch waist. My chest measurement around is about 100cm. My shoulders are about 50cm (very broad).

Thanks Gaz, yes a bit too tight in the shoulders otherwise it’s a great fit. I appreciate the offer but I’d like to give the other fella first dibs. I’ll let you know if it falls through.
Cheers,
-M
