For sale is a size 38 Regular Buzz Rickson reproduction WWII US Army Winter Combat Jacket or Tanker Jacket.

I purchased this jacket approximately 4 years ago from History Preservation Associates for just under $400. I have worn it no more than 10 times (to work and back). I have a lot of jackets and just don't wear this one enough to have it taking up the little amount of space I have.

It's very well made and fits like a true 38 regular. I wear a 38 regular suit jacket and the other 3 Buzz Rickson jackets that I own are also 38 regulars. It measures 21 inches from pit to pit. From shoulder seam to shoulder seam it measures 18 1/4 inches. It's a trim/slim fitting jacket, but it does have a bi-swing back, which gives the wearer more range of movement. However, if you are any larger than a "38 regular", this jacket will not fit you.

The only condition issue that the jacket has is a small repair in the left knit cuff. Somehow, it ended up with a snag that I thought was going to develop into something worse (a hole). My wife put a few stitches in it to prevent it from becoming worse. This is documented in the photographs below. Other than that, the jacket has no stains, holes, tears, repairs or fraying. It has a wool blanket lining and a NOS (new old stock) Conmar zipper which is WWII period correct, and it works just fine.

I'm asking $250.00 USD shipped via UPS ground (domestically). I take PayPal. As far as international shipping goes, I will consider it, but I would charge you the $250 USD plus the cost of shipping to your location. Additionally, I have provided the measurements and all information regarding this jackets condition...therefore, this will be an as is sale.

Please, see the pictures below.

If you are interested in purchasing this jacket, please, send me a private message. Thank you for taking the time and for your, possible, interest!

Thanks. Just over 23 inches, if I am measuring correctly. However, in the times that I've worn the jacket I never noticed the sleeve length. I certainly never thought of the sleeves as being short. It probably has something to do with the bi-swing back...that and/or I am slightly off I. The sleeve measurement. Like I mentioned in the auction, the jacket is slim/trim fitting and it should fit you as long as you're not larger than a "38 regular."
