Here is something quite special, you certainly don't see these pop up very often. If you did, I doubt you'd see one in this condition. It's very lightly worn.

Here is the post that I made when it first arrived;
http://www.thefedoralounge.com/thre...ondon-rocker-by-aero-leathers-scotland.88281/

It is a standard sized 42 Highwayman with some nice features that make it unique.
It has double buckles at the waist, a shallow double-pointed yoke, zip sleeves, no chest pocket & a fantastic chequered flag cotton drill lining.
The FQHH is the lightest I have handled (although still a substantial hide) and has a wonderful, ever so slight waxy feel to it.
In full sun, it appears to be a brown base over-sprayed with black dye. This should produce wonderful contrast and tones as the jacket wears.

The basic measurements are as follows (although check the pic's for more detail);
Pit to pit; 25"
Shoulder to Shoulder; 20"
Arm; 26 1/4"
Back; 25 1/2"

Sad to see this go as I thought it'd be a keeper, but it's not being worn and I really want to buy a new custom order...

Price is Australian Dollars (AUD) $950 - Includes world wide shipping to your door.
Paid net to me via PayPal.
This translates to approximately USD $725 or GBP 540 - INCLUDING International shipping, tracking and Insurance!!!!

Any questions, let me know.

Beautiful leather! Where did you measure the back length from? If you don’t mind how tall are you? Thanks!

Dan_t,
perhaps it would be nice to add to your topic, that the jacket actually fits like size 46 (because of its chest size).
Otherwise, people who wear clothes in size 42, looking finally at this Highwayman jacket pit-to-pit 25" and may thinking "Wow, 25" is too much for size 42".
Anyway, it's really a bit too much for size 42, but it's quite a common situation with Highwayman jackets.
I noticed that, looking at all standart Aero Highwayman jackets, which ones usually go about 2 sizes bigger then it shows on its size tag.
I know that (as a lot of people here on FL, I'm sure), but someone couldn't know that.
Actually, standart Aero Highwayman in size 38 fits like size 42 (except Aero Highwayman Premier range, which are usually fit exactly on its size).
I hope, this could help to sell such a beautiful, rare and really gorgeous Aero Highwayman.
Thanks)

Thanks @Lebowski i know you’re trying to assist.
To be honest, I’m reluctant to claim it “fits like a size 46” as that statement is not truly accurate.
As you can see from the fit pics, this jacket fits me across the shoulders very well. I’m a comfortable size 42 & in many respects, that’s what this jacket offers.
It is cut ‘boxy’ through the torso, which is what the Highwayman offers.
So yes, the pit to pit is generous, for a ‘fitted’ style jacket but normal for a Highwayman ‘comfortable’ style cut.

Size tags on Areo jackets don’t seem to mean much from my limited experience , I usually wear a 44, my fairly new Aero Happy Days jacket is tagged size 40, pit to pit its actually 24, who knows why it tagged 40 and not 44?

Hi and thank you for the information but sadly it’s long enough but otherwise too large for me....I’m getting ready to post a jacket for sale that I just bought off of here because of the length sigh...best wishes it will sell it’s gorgeous.

These jackets are based on a particular 1950s America cut of jacket which were cut boxer and much more generously than the same size in one of the prewar designs. I went down one size as against what I wear in a prewar jacket with mine, but I'm not convinced of the wisdom of going down two siezes in this, as opposed to buying a jacket that is designed to have a neat fit to begin with. THese Ace cafe jackets were interesting, dating to a period when the Ace's long-running relationship with Lewis was out of commission (I think Lewis were out of production for a while when Derek took over, reworking the range and patterns) There were only meant to be a lmiited number of each of the three models - either 50 or 500, don't recall. Not sure whether they reached that; they're certainly a rare birdy in these parts.

Dan_t, you are welcome!
The fit always depends on the exact person, of course.
I personally prefer how it fits on Daniel Craig, i.e. I usually prefer snug trim fit.
Your point of view is also correct, of course -'cause, once again, it depends on personal preference.
Anyway, this Highwayman is really awesome! Just perfectly nice jacket! I'm really surprised it isn't sold yet.
Wish it would be marked as 38 size (and would fit as a trim 42 size in this case) - it already would be mine then)
Like it so much!

I've just tried this jacket on again (it's been hanging in the closet unworn for months through our hot summer).
It's even bigger on me know as I've lost some weight.

This beauty is still available for sale, or trade for something of equal value / condition etc.

Want something truly unique? Look no further than this custom highwayman.
