FS - 7 3/8 Dove Grey Fedora

This is a vintage fedora that Art Fawcett personally helped my renovate in his workshop when Vintage Sillhouettes was located here in CA. I do not remember who the original maker was, definately not a Borsalino, that I would have remembered, more like the quality of a Dobbs or Knox. This fedora has a new high qualty leather sweet band, new silk liner, and new vintage ribbon from Art's stock. I don't want to misrepresent at all, I did all the work on this hat under Art's supervision, and I must say I am very proud of the job that I did Crown is just over 5 inches high with center crease, brim is 2 3/8 wide, size is very slightly larger than a true 7 3/8. There is some color fading between the crown and brim and the very faint hint of an old stain in the crown that did not come out with cleaning but not noticeable when worn. This is a very presentable vintage renovation that you could be proud to wear everyday and not worry about. Offered at $125.00 plus shipping. How much larger is "slightly larger" then a true 7 3/8?

I wear a 7 3/8 when my hair is cut short and more like a 7 1/2 when it is real long. This hat is just a little loose with the short hair and real tight with the long, so thats why I was saying just a little over 7 3/8. Measuring the inside I get between 23 1/4 & 23 3/8 so thats about right just over 7 3/8 size. Hope that helps, Jordan
