Ok, this is the last of my personal vintage hat renovations that I did with the help of Art in his shop when Vintage Silhouettes was here in CA. This was an unfinished Borsalino hat body that I had picked up and wanted to do something special with. I had always liked the Homburg style so I chose that style block and flange from Art's collection of vintage blocks. You will probably never see an original Borsalino blocked in this style. Some very faint color fading in a couple spots but that is being very picky. I have lots of pictures posted so please look carefully. Notice that I hand sewed the original Borsalino medallion onto a new liner as I couldn't see throwing it away at the time. The crown height measures 5 3/8 inches and the brim is 2 inches wide rolled. The darker blue is closer to the true color however I would say that this hat does have lavender overtones which can be seen in the lighter pictures. And the felt...oh sooooooooooo soft. This is a very rackish style but if you can pull it off...this is a beautiful hat. Please feel free to ask questions. $250 first come, free CONUS shipping via USPS, will ship worldwide at cost.
