IT is my latest leather jacket, not sure if it is the final one.
But I am sure i would settle for a while and stop buying, for I have been waiting so long for this jacket, and it fit me perfectly
I think I dont need to discuss too much on the details, as you could find lots of post in fedoralounge from Carol and others.

I have tried on size 40, but I felt tight on the chest and the sleeve

Thats a very nice jacket. I would advice not to use that kind of clothing hanger for the jacket. It doesn't support the shoulderpart like it should and will result folds in where you don't want them. Worst case the leather will stretch because of the weight of the jacket.

Its been two years since I bought my first leather jacket schott james 165
I do wanna write this post today because I have sold that schott jacket to someone.
With ELC 27752 and FW La Brea I have no exceptionally needs for any leather jackets temporarily.
As I have bought in total 14 leather jackets up to now. I do wanna talk a bit on the size choosing.
I know there are much less stores and online stores selling japan leather jackets in western countries. But I do recommend you guys google the details of the jacket in japanese stores, especially the size chart, as different stores have different kind of measuring method. But overall you would have an idea on the size.
For example, I bought FW La Brea size 42, but for Mulholland, perhaps 40 fits me better, while centinela or San Mateo, it turns out size 44 would be better for them on the chest and shoulder. However, by choosing one size larger the sleeve and length are longer and shorter for one size smaller. It is always hard to come out with a decision choosing which size fits you. But if you cannot find a store to try, google more on the japanese stores, it works,

My friend and I had both tried on Freewheelers Fourcorners and Mulholland 42. It turns out that he found mulholland 42 too small and Fourcorners fitting perfectly, while I found both fit me poorly (Mulholland too large and Fourcorners too tight on my chest and shoulder). It is very strange but that's the reality, just like looking for girlfriends and wives. You have to expect some unexpected outcomes - good or bad outcomes even if you like this woman.

Meanwhile, even if the size stats (shoulder, chest, sleeve and length) do fit you, it does not mean it turns out smart and beautiful when you put on it, due to different cutting and design (or poor design). It is always of matter of chances. I have bought 14 but I keep 2 only which fit me best.
I wanted to sell my Freewheelers Mulholland the moment I receive it, even if the data fit me, it turns out poorly. (also Buco J-100 the black one size 42)

Websites like avenuewebstore, mirrorballs, thewildone, mushmans and a lot on rakuten jp have size charts for the jacket. Google and research before you buy a jacket saves unnecessary spending.

I have a couple of those Aero hangers but dislike them. The metal hook needs to be about 2" longer. I don't like how some collars and mouton collars hit the metal hanger bar.

I tried a Mulholland also and did not like it for some reason. It looked great hanging in the store but once I tried it on, I put it right back on the rack.

I like that black one, beside the Thedi and the brown suede Type III above. What brands are those?

Not a Rainbow Country. It does not have an RC label plus the RC did not have an angled front opening like a crosszip. It sure is nice, though.

Looks like a Double Helix maybe but I can't make out the label in the pictures posted.

Now that you mentioned it, that does annoy me too, especially with the mouton.

Thanks, but I workout and gain some weight, it becomes smaller to fit me.
I grew from 100cm chest 44cm shoulder to 106cm chest 51cm shoulder
For me, I love this RM Buco J-100 size 40 the most, very stylish and beautiful
it is closed to navy blue- green color, very special compared to the black one.

The sleeve length is quite okay without a watch. Wearing it more often could help shorten a little bit I think.

Too bad I just bought a Freewheelers Switchyard or I'd be hitting you up to buy that Double Helix from you since you say it is a bit small now. I really wanted to buy a brown one I tried when I was in Japan but it was sold already. Double Helix makes a really nice product.

Who made that brown, suede jeans style jacket in your photos? It looks nice also. Is it a Y2? I can't quite make out the label.

This proves that working out is a pain in the ass when it comes to clothing and fit. Having to change the wardrobe as you grow must be terrible and at the same time exciting because you get to buy new stuff.

Thanks dude, I have sold most of them already, remaining Real Mccoy Buco J-100 42 and Cockpit Air Force One A-2.
DH is really soft and Rainbow Country has excellent horsehide quality.
As for the brown suede jean style jacket, it is Y'2. It is also a very beautiful jacket. And the price is much more affordable than others, around $750? It has a light herbal scent, it reminds me of my vacation in hotels of Southeast Asia. I highly recommend this jacket too. I sold this one reluctantly to a friend heading to Zimbabwe to do business. As I am planning to move to southern cities in China. High humidity makes it hard to keep leather jacket in good condition, let alone the suede one.
