I have a group of 1950's pink tiles sitting in our barn. If anyone wants any, please post to this thread, as my mailbox is almost full.

The tiles are light pink and are square and are hexagon. I can post a picture sometime in the next few days if you post a request.

You pay shipping.

Do you have enough for a backsplash?

Can you give me a count of how many tiles you need? I don't know what size your backsplash is....so I would need you to figure it out according to 4 inch increments plus mortise, cement or whatever filler you are using. Filler is usually 1/16 - 1/8" in most cases between tiles.

I can't find my tape measure at the moment, but the cabinet area is just the L of the room--it is about 8 by 7, or so, and under the cabinets it is about 12" and over the stove it is about twice that. [huh] This is why I don't do anything, I don't know what I'm doing. lol

Do you have a friend or a local Home Depot? You can ask advice and post back when you have a better idea of the number of tiles you need. I'd offer to help myself (worked in hardware for six years) but alas, I'm not nearby you!

No one handy is around at the moment. So I relinquish my claim. lol

Well, if no one steps forward after a while, let's PM each other with pictures and I might be able to help you, yes?

I don't think I have enough tiles though, as I'm calculating the requirements in my head. I would suggest you consider these accent pieces instead of an entire area of the size you are listing.

I probably wouldn't be able to put them up anyway, I am more the peel-n-stick tile kind of person, which is what I was thinking about doing. I was going to paint my cabinets pink & use the floor tiles that match the ones my cousin bought. So far I haven't done anything. :eusa_doh:

my bathroom is all pink tiles. i'd be interested in them because we are in the process of redoing it. (the stupid prior owners painted over the precious original tiles from when our house was built in 1949).

if you can provide pictures and more details, i'd appreciate it.

I have a couple within reach, which I can get before the end of the weekend, and take pictures of. These are light pink tiles.

The others I won't be able to get until the storm clears here in the Bay Area + 5 days or so due to the extensive mud.

PROMISED: Pink Tiles

There are two more storms due here in the Bay Area, which means I won't be able to get to these for probably two weeks or so.

But I've got samples here and I will post pics shortly. Because I only have a small amount of these, I am going to close this thread and limit it to the persons who have already responded.

Update: It hasn't rained in quite a few days, and the ground is finally firmed up. I should be able to get to the tiles this weekend and post a count and pics.
