Four vintage fedora hat lot.
The hats would be most comfortable for a size 6 7/8 - small 7, as I wear a 7 1/8 and they are very snug.
1900s-1920s Valence hat:
This hat was made by "DELMAS & PONT". Sadly, their factory was destroyed by fire in 1936. They specialized in Merino wool hats. This hat has some unusual details, seen by the hat ribbon, which shows a decorative wind cord. The inside shows what looks like glue residue from a crown logo. and some threads for what may have been a stitched in liner(?)
1930s Borsalino Trionfo:
Beautiful vintage Borsalino. This hat is the oldest Borsalino I have come across, and is in amazing shape, from the liner to the felt, I am unable to locate any damage.
1940s-1950s John hat:
The crown label reads "JOHN HOWARTH & CO". Hailing from London, the felt of this hat bears a stiffer feel, and only seems to take to a slight front pinch. Jet black felt, with a sun faded black band, this one is an interesting piece
1950s Lee Black label
The hat reads "Lee Black Label" all American. The felt is slightly stiffer in feel. Thin ribbon. Needs to be slightly reshaped as the brim towards the rear is out of it's flange shape. Steam will fix it up.
Asking $175 (that is only $43 a hat. Great deal) o.b.o
