Rummaging through a bin of old photos, much of which was snapshots from the 70s and 80s, I found some really old negatives. I selected 5 I liked, paid my $2 and change and brought them home to scan.
Most of these I think are from the teens.
This last one was a much smaller negative, but still larger than 35mm. Judging mainly by the cars in the background I'd guess it to be 1930s, and knowing that the skating rink didn't open in Rockefeller Center until 1936, I guess it must be the last half of the 1930s.
These are just raw scans I haven't done anything to clean them up yet, or even balanced the exposure curve. I was just so excited I wanted to share. I'm quite happy with the condition. The worst condition, the women in the canoe, is also my favorite.
