Gotta love sellers that don't do their homework. (They did a decent job on the rest of the description though.)

And in the end, that's all that matters. Heck, if the description had been floridly J. Peterman-esque, the hat might have ended up selling for more $$$. And that would have been baaaaaaaad for Henry.

Seriously, I think the price is pretty good and it's my first vintage grey hat, so I think that it'll be fun to wear it.

My very first fedora was a Marathon. It was sold by J. C. Penny in the 1950's, and had the Marathon name in the crown and on the sweatband. It looked exactly like the one in the first photo. I wore it until it quite literally disintegrated.

I did not have the heart to throw it away, so I burned it our wood stove in an appropriate Viking like funeral.
