The new engine may render faster but for some reason I get the feeling that the entire site has grown pretty sluggish. Sometimes when I click a button it takes ages before the site responds and every so often it doesn't respond at all and I get a page not found error... [huh]

Well, Mr. DragonAx. As I am from West Texas where we raised up with rattlesnakes and cactus I have lots of guns and 8 brothers and about 55 nephews and some pretty mean nieces also. lol

Me, too. Not a big deal--it's just more convenient not to have to log in every time.

I think it'll take me a little while to get used to the visible tables, but that doesn't bother me - this time next week I doubt I'll remember what has changed. Not yet dabbled with the PM / Profile area, but that looks interesting. The biggest positive change for me, though, is the arrival of a multi-quote function. That will save a lot of time I previously spent cutting and pasting so as to reply to everything on which I wanted to comment in a thread within one post.

Well, it's not exactly *right*, but it's here. This quick reply page seems to be going really slow.

I realize the layout is annoying, and feels crowded. Also the thread information images are overbearing, and feel like they dominate the page.

We're working on it. Give us some time, and make some recommendations here in this thread.

A few things right off:

1. The sidebar on the main page, each user can decide to hide that if they want. Click the double arrow on the far right, and it will disappear.
2. Some of the smileys from the old board aren't working correctly.
3. On the bottom-left of every page, you can change the theme/colors of the Lounge. The one called "Default" is black text on a white background. It's not pretty, but it works. Something better looking is in the works, though.

This is not a big thing, but whenever I click to the main page, it asks me to log in, even if I am already logged in. I can navigate around fine once I get away from the front page. Also when I do log in and it redirects me, it is still on the page prompting me to log in or register until I click to some other page.

Also, have the postcount titles changed? Because I don't remember being a Senior Member, and I couldn't find anything in the FAQ.

Also, is there a reason we can no longer have code in our signatures?

I do really like the upgrade.
