I have this leather jacket which fits great & is very comfortable as well. I bought it at a
very good price. The cuffs are gone. I plan to put knit cuffs.

This is my A-2 style leather jacket with the knit cuffs.

In comparison the jacket on the right has a style similar to a denim jacket
in that the sleeves are longer then usual.

My local tailor does excellent work with leather . He will attach the knit cuffs to
where I may choose. And I'm going with this below as a guide.

I like the A-1 style jackets with the buttons & knit cuffs. And I would like to
have knit cuffs on this jacket.

The jacket as is without the cuffs looks something like this:

I would like opinions about this jacket style I have shown you & the idea of attaching the knit cuffs
& adjusting the sleeve length to fit me . Thanks.

Try to find a pair of cuffs not attatched to a jacket, or buy something cheaper from the thriftstore, it still looks like a decent Jacket you are parting=out for cuffs and waist.

they look like a close match in colour to your Jacket, I would say if you cant find anything else, go for it, Just donate the Other Jacket somewhere that will recycle that material and use it for something.

waste not want not.

otherwise this is a noble project.

I already have a pair of knit cuffs. This jacket originally came with leather cuffs.
I like the style of the A-1 jacket with the buttons & knit cuffs. I believe this jacket would be a good
candidate to have knit cuffs which I like. I would like to know what others think.
Thanks for the encouragement !

Goodwear might sell you knits, or try Mash Japan.
The Menlo Cossack has leather cuffs though.

I already have a pair of knit cuffs that would fit perfect.

The Menlo jacket came with leather cuffs.
This Menlo jacket is missing the cuffs.

I would like instead of leather cuffs, add knit cuffs similar to A-1 style jackets.
I believe this jacket would look good with knit cuffs.

Was asking for comments on this.
Thanks for your input.

It's going to look like a Menlo jacket with knit cuffs added. While I hate knit cuffs, I've seen them added to a few vintage jackets, perhaps to add sleeve length and/or deal with wear. So you won't be the first to try this by a long shot.
