Putting this back up for sale! Catch and release as the fit isn't for me. Have really only tried on a couple times at home since getting it.

Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

Yes I do wear a 40 Hercules. But a little more room for layers is welcome from time to time. They do look like good measurements for me, although it can be hard to tell until worn.

I may just order a full run of pony boy sizes for my shop next year and figure out the fit then.

The Ponyboy fits the same as the Herc in the same tag size. The center vent on the back gives the fit a lot of ease. The thing with the Ponyboy is that its a longer jacket like the Herc, meant for untucked shirt fits. I am ok with the Herc being longer but maybe one inch shorter for the Xzip Ponyboy because xzip has a bit more leather up front.

Ponyboy stock length (23" front 25" back), covers the whole belt and hits just above the jeans hand pockets.

Another modified xzip aviator with an inch chopped off (22" front, 24" back), covers most of the belt, sits an inch higher in the front, works with both tucked and untucked shirts at this length imo..

Or bring back this old Rainbow Country pattern with the irregular shaped D pocket and its pointy coin pocket, with sewn buttons. I think this one is an inch shorter (than the Ponyboy) judging by these photos. I've been looking around for long time for this jacket but no one is letting theirs go.

My Ponyboy in a size 40 has the same measurements as the one sold here. It's why I sized up to a 42 for my most recent Hercules. I also have an RC Single Rider from Avenue in a size 40 that fits similar to the 42 Hercules

I was just going by my current experience… I cannot wear size 42 Hercules comfortably and moved onto size 44. But then Hercules sizing differently from 42 to 44 only affects the chest/ shoulder. They have same sleeve and length I believe.

In pony boy, I can wear size 42 very comfortably even with the very stiff one I have in tobacco brown.
