For sale is my new Art Fawcett (VS) Granite Colored hat. Size 7 1/8 inches. The hat is perfect in every way except I prefer a hat that is slightly more tapered than this one. Most Loungers prefer less taper so this should sell. I have only taken the hat outside one, just for pictures. I have not been wearing it. As new, with original Art Fawcett Hat box which is also in excellent condition. Truly a beautiful hat. I have owned it since July as you can see by my posts here:

That is a beautiful hat at a good price. Unfortunately, I am with you about taper. I like a little more taper than what is considered normal on the lounge.

Thanks for the advice guys. I tried to change the crease that Art put into it. I managed to lower the crown but the taper is not as I wanted it. I will put it back the way Art had it and sell it for a price drop.
$200 includes shipping.

Color: granite
Brim: 2 1/4 inches all around, with an underwelt.
Crease: creased by Art Fawcett.
Crown: 4 3/4 inches front and back, 5 inches in the middle.
Bow: 6 inches long, with a red verticle line built into the knot.
Liner: red.
Ribbon: 1 1/2 inches, grey color.
Weight: unsure.
Felt: 100% beaver.

I know you say it's an 1/8, but what is the exact circumference?

It is 22 inches even. Because the stitching is new, it could probably be stretched a little with no harm. Thanks for asking.

I think that 22 inches is a size 7 ... :)

I'm interested but I usually wear a 7.25. What are the front to back and side to side dimensions? Thanks

Front to back measures: 7 3/4 inches

Side to side measures: 6 3/8 inches

When I asked Art to make the hat. I told him my measurement was 7 1/8 inch, so that is what I was going on.

Thanks for the additional dimensions. I'd definitely need at least 1/4 in more length. I wouldn't mind risking trying the stretch on a less expensive hat. though your're offering at a good price, but for a hat this nice I'd definitley want a decent fit. Maybe I'll see what Mr F thinks about the possibility of stretching to fit. Again many thanks for measuring.

$225 free delivery within the continental U.S.

Ah man, c'mon, everyone is always hating on Alaska with the shipping. Seriously, I sometimes pay as much for the shipping, as I do the product.

OK, free delivery within all 50 states. My sincere apologies. I did not mean to slight the good people "overseas".

Decided to keep the hat

I have been working the crease and have been able to fashion a bit of taper. I have decided to keep the hat. It is a nice hat. Thank you for all your interest and inquiries!
