Hi,

We're moving from Alaska to California soon and I'm letting go of some pieces that won't be seeing much wear in the new climate.

I put a lot of work into getting this one broken in, but it still has a lifetime of wear left in it. I'm including the spec sheet from Thurston, but please see the pictures with the measuring tape for an idea of the sizing. Also, the throat latch was missed during production, but having it remade to include one didn't seem necessary. The leather appears darker in person.

$650 shipped within the United States or $600 plus actual shipping, which will likely be more than $50.

Please feel free to message me or reply here with any questions.

Thanks for looking!

The hide is thick. It stood up on its own for quite awhile.
Thanks!

Yeah. I was going for a trim fit right before the Premier Half Belt came out. I really like the premier half belt and premier highwayman jackets.

I honestly have never had the chance to compare them. This jacket was made to be slimmer from a larger pattern and the premier was designed from the start to be slimmer.

That's very nice! I would think you could still use it, a few months out of the year in California, but perhaps a little lighter one would be better.

So I have a Steerhide "Size 44" 30's HB that came also out of Thurston Brothers. I bought it off the rack when Carrie still had her store there. I wanted one that was just a little loose, to allow for a hoodie underneath to help stave off the cold Iowa winds. So this "Size 40" would likely fit pretty similar to the Size 42 Easy Rider LW jacket that you sold me, Sweetfights. I would tend to think it would be a great fit on you, especially with the 19" waist measurement and the fairly long sleeves. Generally speaking the 30's HB isn't as generous a cut as the Highwayman, as the Pit to Pit measurement shows. I've not tried on a premier fit 30's HB so cannot comment on the differences.

I think many could get a few months of wear per year in Northern California, but being from Alaska and being part Iñupiat, I tend to run on the hot side. If I were to get another Aero it would be in Vicenza with a thin cotton liner most likely.

Thanks for the feedback- I do love the style. But need to sell my LW Buco J100 to get the "funds"
Your personalized feedback is so greatly appreciated AeroFan !

I forgot to include the spec sheet from Thurston before, so that is in this post. As I said in the original post, they had forgotten the throat latch during production, so that is incorrect.
