Up for sale is an absolutely gorgeous 1950's Green heather felt fedora. This hat is pretty much in mint condition. The pictures really speak for themselves. When I received this hat, it had the ugliest woven muti-colored green pug attached to it. I am not sure if it was original or not, but its was hideous. I removed the pug and replaced it with some 7/8 green ribbon that I removed from another 1950's Stetson that was used for a project of mine. The ribbon was just sitting around, so I thought it would look great on this hat. Like I said, its from a 1950's Stetson, so the time periods match up. I also tried to make the bow design in the style of other 50's Stetson's I have seen. It looks much more natural to me than the ugly woven pug.

The color in the pictures is a bit lighter than the actual color of the hat due to the flash on my camera. The felt has a very beautiful light to medium green heather color. The sweatband is perfect, the liner is perfect, and the felt is perfect. It comes with the original Stetson box and the pug that was taken off the hat. You will receive the hat in OPEN CROWN position as well, but the felt shapes wonderfully without steam so pretty much any dry crease can be done.

I'm asking $150 SHIPPED to anywhere in the CONUS

Brim:2 3/8 inches wide (overwelt brim)

Overwelt: 3/8 inches wide

Crown: 5 1/2 Inches tall

Ribbon : 7/8 inches wide

I'm interested, but with a sizing question. Please get in touch.

Thanks, David

I'm unsure how to contact you, but if your looking for the measurements, they are as follows:

Side to Side (reed end to reed end) is 6 3/4 inches

Front to Back (reed end to reed end) is 8 inches

The ellipse calculator puts this hat around 23.2 inches in circumference. I measure around 23 inches, so a large 7 1/4 or small 7 3/8
