I got these in the mail last week, and the pointed toe just isn't my thing. Up for your consideration are these late 1950's Nunn Bush 'Featherwate' shoes in black leather with a leather basket weave toe.

Condition: Perfect. No flaws to note, original heels.
Size: 9.5D. I wear a US 9.5 or UK8 and they fit like a glove

Pretty slick...I have a story about Nunn-Bush in their Milwaukee days. Woody Herman's father, Otto Herrmann, was born in Germany and was one of their master cobblers. He custom-made all of Woody's shoes for years.
