Up for sale is my 1940s Stetson Casual fedora. The felt is very soft, highly moldable, slightly fuzzy, and heather grey. It features decorative pinstripe stitching that encircles the 2 5/8" brim from edge to crown, along with a dark royal blue satin lining that has some light staining from a previous owner's hair product.
The sweatband is a supple, light tan leather, 1 3/4" wide, with rock-solid stitching. The "ribbon" is a 1" strip of felt that ends in a fork, giving the hat a classy yet casual appearance.
Details:
Size: 7 1/8
Condition: Very good. No blemishes or moth bites that I can see.
Usage: As it’s a size or two smaller than I wear, it has remained unworn for the 15 years or so that I’ve owned it.
Bonus: Includes a vintage octagonal Knox hat box in decent condition.
