The condition of this hat is really incredible. Aside from the reed tie corrosion, its pretty much in mint condition.

I'm as shocked as you guys are that it got that high. I have sold a bunch of pre-1940's stuff for ridiculous low prices on ebay, so I wanted to put a reserve on this one. With a 5 1/2 inch crown, it was a bit low for my liking. The crown was beautifully straight for 5 1/2 though.
