Thanks, Gents!

I actually bought this hat because the seller said it was a size 7 1/2. I was getting it for a friend of mine. When I received it, the size was actually a size 7. I didn't really want to send it back. Usually I would keep it because I wear a size 7, but I have several hats this color. So its going on the chopping block. Its one of the nicest 1900 Exposition medals I have held in my hand, and I have owned about 4 of them.

I would be all over this hat if it were even a 7 1/4 but I could not tolerate the pain of putting my head in a vice to squeeze it down enough to fit this incredible hat. On the other hand I am thrilled that such a great example of this age of hat still exists.....warms my cold heart.

[QUOTE="Unfortunately, somewhat like the Grinch's heart, my head would need to shrink two sizes.
Sent directly from my mind to yours.

Mine too!!!! Or in my case, four sizes. :-( So many great small hats my melon cannot fit.............[/QUOTE]

Stretch 5-6 sizes for me. There are even more smaller hats small that I can't fit. And there are folks around here who are even more "blessed." Hey, big head; big hat!!

Here's a chance to own a fantastic early 1900's Stetson Long Hair. The felt is 98% mint except for one spot. The sweatband is in great shape and the ribbon only has one wear spot. The pictures really do not do this hat any justice. In person, its spectacular.

Please gain some weight so all these gems MIGHT be a 7 1/2 LO....your hats are always top shelf and we wish we could own them.
