I assume you are saying this jacket belonged to Wing Commander Paddy Finucane. Do you have documented proof for this? He sadly died in June 1942 and his body has never been recovered from the Channel.

No I am not saying it belonged to this hero.... But to someone of his Group...and here I have it all and can support it.
I am not selling...maybe trading...I will restaure it otherwise.

I'm glad to see you have edited your earlier post which suggested it was Paddy's Irvin. If it belonged to someone in his squadron or wing, please post the evidence.

The seller sent me these four names and the valve, according to him from the crash site.
One of these was the wearer of the Irvin.

Where can I do some more research?
Help welcome.
The Irvin will be put into its original condition, no matter what it will take and cost.
thx to all.
RIP all braves...

According to that paper these men were in four different crashes, how is the jacket narrowed down to them? They crashed on different days or were in different squadrons. I'm sorry, I'm not following the logic here.

A few more scans and then it goes to the restoration shop...
No name found on the tag, not even with UV.
Result will be shown when finished.
Help needed to hopefully find the " unlucky Irish "
RIP...

I would disagree, its a LUCKY Jacket... its luck has survived with it my friend.

would you consider selling it to me, if so, please contact.

I might be interested in doing the restoration myself!!!

Just asking.
