Truman Black Horse Rump. Been loving the horse rump/butt boots, hefty but comfy. They also don't crease much which I think is cool, I have 3 and only boot is showing creasing on the vamp. I'm wondering if horse butt would be a good leather for an engineer? But it might not show the crease/rolls that worn engineers will have

They look great! My honcho western boots are what they call horse butt. It is horween horsehide. They are starting to get some nice grain in areas. Have two more pair in horse butt coming sometime. The factory has closed multiple times due to covid.

I remember they are the brown one that you paired with your brown JL, correct? How does it feel to wear? They sure look great and looked mighty comfy too. Does that company only make western boots?

Very comfortable. Yeah just western. But you can spec a round toe, low block roper heel or any heel really, any height, no scallop and have a non western looking boot like an engineer sans straps

and in horween horse for like 375 bucks made in el paso tx

Got it, you can spec it how you want it to look and that's pretty cool. That's a very reasonable price for something with that much leather. I'll look them up

Wearing Converse lucky star today.
Bought a pair of Chippewa 1939 cxl at an outlet.
I had those exact model Chippewas. As far as Chippewas go a great pair. Definitely the pair to own if one desires Chippewas. You can find them come up from time to time for very affordable prices.

When I was reorganising a wardrobe, I found these sneakers that I had bought when I was more fashion oriented. Keep in mind that these are fashion sneakers, so they are nowhere near as well made as what is commonly shown here.

Yep, you could call them grizzly sneakers :D
If memory serves, this is horse or pony hair, and in keeping with the spirit of this thread, here goes

We never thought about it but it is possible to match a grizzly with your shoes

Edit: typos

Damn this Thedi is nice. What type of leather did he use, hand dyed goatskin? I love those red / burgundy color undertones.

As is usual with him, I told him what I wanted to do, ie. this jacket, and he showed me leather samples he thought would be perfect - I ordered this one during one of my visits in Thessaloniki.

The original hide was a shade of red with some variations, it went though his treatment and came out like this. I don't think he dyed it. The lining is some wool I sourced in Tokyo.

says the guy who also has the same problem lol but you know how it goes! Somebody's got to do it my dude! I can't wait to see your upcoming orders, especially the flame pandas
Guilty as charged, but in my defense, I’m much more of a boot/shoe than leather jacket guy. From my last count I’ve got 5 boots in varying stages of production. Kind of embarrassing to admit. The sickness is real.

I think I'm still figuring it out in terms of which boots I really want to wear so I'm in a middle of a phase lol I have 3 right now (Truman java horse rump service boot, FP black horse butt monkey boot, benzein TdD 01 burgundy horse butt) and I'm sure I'll get a black engineer this year as well lol the sickness is real! I think I figured out what kind of leather jackets I really want so I should slow down ( sic hopefully) this year hahaha
