I have seen so many lovely pictures of women with a flower in your hair.

I have never worn one but would sure like to learn how to. I assume they are silk or fresh such as for an occasion (wedding) but I would need to know about securing one on? i ask because I am somewhat impaired with my hands and would need to find an EZ method. lastly, does what side it is place on matter?
I once heard that in hawaii, left or right side signifies if the lady is single or married ;)

Thanks, and if this has been discussed before, feel free to move my post.

Sonia:)

There are several threads here already on hair flowers. You'll probably find the answers to your questions in one of them:

You can buy hair flowers that already have hair barrettes, bobby pins or alligator clips attached to them, and many girls here make their own. It's very easy to go to the craft store, buy silk flowers and glue a clip onto the back (like the ones in my avatar photo). I also clip spigs of flowers and just tuck them into my style, or you can just secure with a bobby pin around the stem of the flower.

There is technically a significance to what side you wear it on, but no one really cares about that.
