The second shots show that it looks like an excellent fit overall minus the untucked shirt. Fantastic jacket. Sleeves are slightly short, but I think it looks fine. My sleeves are too long and I don't mind them either.

I’m well aware of your hatred for the untucked ;) . Was just illustrating length , rest assured it’ll be tucked unless it’s a tee from here on!

IMHO some shirts look better tucked in others don’t.

Casual shirts I think they look fine untucked, just a matter of personal preference.

Also a tucked in shirt gives away a much more formal vibe that is not always desirable.

Part of it is just that it's really hard to judge the fit of a jacket with an untucked shirt, especially when the jacket is zipped. Of course I think it doesn't look good, but in this context, I'm only saying it in terms of being able to judge the fit.

No one was criticizing anyone for wearing a shirt untucked because of a physical disability. Just that it certainly is difficult if not impossible in some cases to determine if a jacket fits in length with the shirttail hanging below the jacket. Also appears much neater tucked or not sticking out below the jacket.

I am not disabled, going on 70 I race a 17' sailboat that requires hiking out to balance, hard on the abs, I ride a Ducati Multistrada at going to jail speeds in the mountains, I work the foredeck on my 40' keel sailboat on San Francisco Bay in 20 knot winds and I walk my retriever 2 miles a day along the marshlands wearing a leather jacket weather permitting with my shirt untucked and always wearing a fedora or western hat

Your jacket looks good. I agree the sleeves look a bit short on you compared to how I like my jacket sleeves to fit, but with you built shorted fitting sleeves may be common with stock sized jackets

Nicely put. I'm heading towards 55. I run 20 feet to catch my morning bus. Sometimes I reverse park my Honda Civic without hitting the guy behind me. I sit at a desk for hours at a stretch wondering what the weather is like outside whilst drinking coffee after coffee. I think my prostate needs medical attention. I like the look of an untucked shirt.
