Flame and Citron

Has anybody seen this one yet? Here's the synopsis posted on Rotten Tomatoes:

"In this thriller set in World War II-era Copenhagen, two men put everything on the line in their fight against the Nazis."

The film, directed by Ole Christian Madsen, stars Mads Mikkelsen, probably best known as the villian Le Chiffre in Casino Royale. I have it on my Netflix Instant Streaming queue, but haven't had the time to watch it.

This film has been mentioned here a few times in the last couple of years.

I was living in Copenhagen when this film was being made- I love Danish film.
I'm not Danish but I can understand the language.
I'll reserve my opinion but here's a review:

There is something very special about Danish films and it might be due to the language, which is fantastic. A small country with a big film culture.

Rented it a few months ago. Very well done! It's a story I did not know prior to seeing this film. I recommend it!

As a dane I can only recommend it - but personally I liked the Norwegian "Max Manus" a whole lot better.

Both films are very well made and tells about the resistance during the nazi occupation, but where Flame and Citron has a plot of "who decides what" and "who did what and why" and "who can we trust" - and almost no solution or answere to the many questions it rises -Max Manus tells its story of the sacrifices made by single persons much more direct.
Guesse it's a matter of taste.

Somewhere deep in my sub-conscience I remember hearing about Max Manus. It looks good! Reminds me of a more action-packed The Wind That Shakes The Barley.

Still have not seen Flame and Citron - will post my thoughts on it when I do.
