Thank you Nick that is really helpful, very much appreciate it
That is just so next level.... This jacket is a piece of complex art.
I like the collar on mine so much that I've never worn the jacket without it. The only time I took it off was when I made these pics.Thank you Nick that is really helpful, very much appreciate it
That leather is so beautiful, I've seen it so many times but that is one lovely piece. It is really like a lighter brown version of the FL full aniline brown shinki.I like the collar on mine so much that I've never worn the jacket without it. The only time I took it off was when I made these pics.

Yes, i totally feel the same as you Marc. I bought the jacket with the intention of having the Mouton collar as a secondary option, and wearing it mainly without the collar ,not realising how well constructed and integrated it is with the jacket , it feels like a shame to take it off.I like the collar on mine so much that I've never worn the jacket without it. The only time I took it off was when I made these pics.

IMHO this is the best Thedi has to offer. I love this jacket. Beautiful!
this really is the best way to do removable collar, with buttons instead of snaps, and the extra full strip at the back for security. more expensive way of doing things but turns out better when compared to others.I like the collar on mine so much that I've never worn the jacket without it. The only time I took it off was when I made these pics.

Visited Theodoros and his daughter last week in Thessaloniki. Your quote "This is the best Thedi has to offer..." was in every second sentence I had to say after trying the next jacket on.
I am happy I had an almost clear mind on what I was going for (a buttoned cossack jacket in cognac water buffalo), because even then I got lost in all the AMAZINGLY beautiful jackets Thedi produces. Honestly, pics can´t do justice to these pieces of art. The touch, finish, and love for details must be seen live to be fully appreciated.
Fun fact, I aimed at an MTO jacket and ended up fitting like a glove in literally the very first jacket I tried (cossack on the pics). Only changes: buttons have been changed for horn buttons with cat-eye.
Second fun fact: I was convinced I would want an unwashed/untreated buffalo leather to have the jacket age genuinely with wear. Well... Forget about that when you have seen and touched a jacket that went through Theodoros hands. I have never had anything like it despite a few jackets from other brands that I own/owned. It feels quite hard and stiff, and yet it drapes perfectly and has a very luxurious feel overall. Hard to describe. Plus the thing is, these jackets do not simply fit (and that they do perfectly), they also tell you "here is home". You don´t want to put it off again (and it was freaking 28 °C).
(Spot the light colored jacket on the rack; sixth from the right. This is the Badalassi cowhide cross-zip jacket that can be seen on the Thedi FB page. It is STUNNING!).

And, finally, there is Alexandra and Theodoros themselves. They are incredibly friendly, helpful, and passionate about their product. I felt welcome and excellently cared for as a customer. Everything was taken care with a smile and Greek hospitality (even though it took me 2.5 hrs to finally decide! I would have hated me...).
I am 100% satisfied and obviously had to buy a second jacket, a Phenix cafe racer in a tremendously soft, treated suede-like leather. Sleeves will be shortened as they are a tad too long for my taste.

Oh, and given your appreciation of cross-zipped jackets, check out the light brown one on these pics. I think it was a cowhide jacket. Was amazing too... Too many beautiful stuff, I tell you. Also the deerskin jacket were impressive (green deerskin... damn it, it is stunning). View attachment 342567 View attachment 342568
I could never go there. I would return broke, divorced and living out of my car eating ‘Ol Roy dog food. But ******** I would look good. LOL. Beautiful jackets and the fits are equally superb! Well done!
Sold!I'm seriously considering a road trip to Thessaloniki from Bulgaria on my next business trip. Of course, my wife would murder me and then @ton312 would get a PM from "me" asking if I would take all 12 of my jackets off my dead body for $1,000 shipped.
How on earth could you pick only 2?

The thing is, Thessaloniki itself is such a cool city. Excellent food, good vibes, lovely people, etc. I love being there.
I just made a screenshot of this sentence and sent it to my gf lol. (I've been planning on visiting Thessaloniki (=Thedi) but my gf thinks there's not much else to do there so she'd rather visit Athens instead)
